Will you do anything differently as a result of this webinar?

Planning to review course materials and thinking to use this in my practice going forward.
I would like to use this more formalised /standardised/ validated assessment approach to assessing visual perception, visuo-motor skills and the integration of both these aspects.
Request the pack from SSC and work out pupils who will benefit from it and assess them.
We were already planning on purchasing the assessment kit as a service.

What was best about the event?

Hearing first-hand experience of the assessment package.
Photos of the resource to aid the explanations. The summaries of 'tips' on how to best follow the instructions for administering the test.
Clear explanations of how to use the kit, explanations of the marking.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the event?

Nothing (2) - it 'did what it said on the tin'.
I have enjoyed numerous SSC courses over numerous years. Sadly, this was not one of them ... I believe the whole structure of the presentation needed re-thought so it was clear and informative. Sadly, I cannot say that this was a valuable use of my time or the financial resources of our department.

What other CPD training would you like the SSC to provide?

Other assessment products SCC use in their everyday practice.
I think future webinars on new assessment resources would be really welcome but they need to be better thought out, accompanied by useful visual aids and PowerPoints.

Any comments on the technical aspects

Could not always hear presenters but I was dialling in. Having access to the recording is fabulous.

I had a delay logging in which was issues with my wifi, once I was logged in there were no issues.
The webinar resource worked well for me but unfortunately speakers connection was very poor and led to lots of technical glitches and passing back and forth. It became very disjointed.
