What was best about the session?

Gained some useful tips and ideas for many areas of personal care.
Tying laces some great tips on this difficult aspect of ILS.
Learning some of the tips that Nancy and Sharon have used. Really useful.
Reassurance that there is always a different or new way/idea.
Suggestions for best practice and links for resources.
Presenters were clear.
All the hints and tips around strategies and useful equipment.
Having 2 people hosting as it made it feel like a podcast! Nice relaxed style of presenting!
It was all very useful.
Particularly interested in the young people's work arounds ie Meta glasses.
The practical strategies and ideas to support young people.
I like all the ideas and links to videos and resources - this is really helpful. You are helping to cut down the amount of research.
The practical examples, links and resource ideas were great. I liked the clothes line idea for learning to tie shoelaces - I use pipe-cleaners to help get the idea but I think a clothes line would be better!

What, if anything, do you think should have been included?

Cutting nails/nail care
As there are other sessions in the sequence it sounds like it is a comprehensive cover.
Styling and hairbrushing.
Toilet training was mentioned once but not enlarged on.
More around specific skills.
Nothing, was very comprehensive and if we get a copy that is great as have it as a resource.
I felt there was plenty of content.
I think you have given a good initial insight into all the areas and when things should be introduced so, that helps to build a framework to work round. Links to resources - THANK YOU as you often hear about good things but don't know how to get to them.
Maybe going into depth on some more topics i.e. Sanitary and Shaving and exploring further - though tricky as we work with such a wide range of children.
Ideas for getting the correct amount of shampoo etc. required as this can be difficult in a shower.
Same for getting the right amount of face cream etc.
Not sure, looking forward to the other sessions.
I'm not sure it was excellent.
Nothing else.

What other CPD training would you like the SSC to provide?

More of the same.
ILS for additional needs. Detailed toilet training advice for parents.
Update on use of tech - ie AI? As fast pace of change.
Not sure at this time - possibly going into further depth on topics previously explored but I am looking forward to this ILS series because I think you are going to prompt thinking and devising of stuff.
Food preparation, more detail on getting dressed.
