Incorporate more Accessibility features into my mainstream teaching to enhance graphs with sound.
Yes, I will use the sound and color options for my students.
I will now explore the desmos site further, and try with a particular pupil to see if it will suit her.
Will explore the use of Desmos with a Blind Student.
Explore use of scientific calculator as opposed to only the graphing calculator.
We delivered training on Desmos the following day and made the accessibility features a much larger part of that training.
Have a deeper look into the software/app. Evaluate which students this would be appropriate for and how the students can access it especially using Braille.
I will use trace option more frequently with everyone.
Direct access to the top CEO of Desmos.
Being walked through how the features work.
Very enthusiastic, easy to listen to speakers. A wealth of knowledge on their subject.
The enthusiasm of the presenters.
Enhanced accessibility features I was unaware of such as ability to emboss graphs.
Enthusiasm and expertise of presenters and willingness to answer questions.
Being shown the accessibility capabilities by somebody who obviously understands the difficulties faced by students with a visual impairment.
The input from such knowledgeable presenters.
Provide a template example graph with the right features, so that we could play-along.
I personally found the pace quite fast. Although I am keen to find the best option for my pupil, my confidence with using the Mathematical terms isn't the best, so I struggled to keep up. Perhaps some notes in advance may have helped? In saying this, I appreciate the webinar was recorded, so I will take advantage of being able to watch again.

Anything like this of a similar ilk - albeit short, it has been very valuable for me going forward.
How would you rate the webinar technology? 4.5/5
None - very supportive team encouraging as much interactivity/questions/comments as Zoom allows.
