This webinar will give practical ideas and links to support the development of gross motor skills in babies and young children who have a significant visual impairment but otherwise typical development.

The webinar will focus on the first one thousand days of a child's life and will examine concept development through gross motor skills as well as the developmental milestones of crawling, cruising and walking. The importance of professionals and parents working together to support learning will also be a key theme.

This webinar will be of interest to Qualified Habilitation Specialists, (Qualified) Teachers of Visual Impairment, Heads of Sensory Services, Pre-School Visiting Teachers, staff working in early years settings who are supporting a child with a significant visual impairment, parents/carers.
