Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

Think about the types of pictures that DO or DONT need to be portrayed as a tactile.
Have a better idea of what graphics do/do not need to be produced in tactile form.
Yes!! It will directly feed into our Level 3 course 'Supporting Children with Visual Impairment'; updating/adding to the original content, both as face to face training and reading material. All members of staff of our sensory VI service will be updated on this information also. Knowing there are standardised 'rules' for tactile design and implementation is great!
Look at the suggested guidelines about preparing Tactile graphics and plan more carefully when asked to produce a tactile diagram.
Not sure.
Declutter graphics more.
I will be more confident when approaching tactile diagrams.

What was best about the course/event?

The real life graphics and poll questions were useful.
Overall presentation - easy to understand, good pace, very informative.
The polls were excellent; using your own brain instead of just listening. To be honest, the whole thing was amazing, I loved it.
Everything was clearly presented with good tips and reference to online resources.
Enjoyed it all.
Many examples
Presentation was excellent. Presented simply, with great clarity. Good examples shown of what to do as well as what not to do.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

Examples of the tactiles available next to the pictures being asked about in the questions
Nothing
Time is always an issue, but a little more per slide for taking notes about that particular slide.
More summaries of points made and/or checklists to refer back to.
I found the pace quite fast, so appreciate the fact we can watch the recording again.

Technical Feedback

How would you rate the webinar technology? 4.3/5

Any comments on the technical aspects

Effective and interactive.
All worked well for me.
Link was easy and test is advised, so all good.
The sound would sometimes have a hiccup so that the person speaking was slightly delayed. At the beginning of the webinar the sound and the person speaking on screen were out of sync quite significantly which was offputting.
Poll covered image being asked about a few times.
