Feeling more confident teaching UEB maths.
Greater understanding when creating maths documents and with teaching fractions etc.
Will take the information and guidance learned into practice.
Be more confident in setting out maths in braille.
Good to have the reference material as its a lot to retain.
I have more confidence at explaining the rules of using the grade 1 sign to staff working in school.
Feel that I have a more confident understanding of using Grade 1 indicators for both word/passage, etc and that I now know when numerical indicators take the lead in whether a Grade 1 indicator is even needed. It will definitely impact on my teaching.
Feel more confident!
Devote more time to Maths and Science braille to improve my adaptable skills and speed.
Share with colleagues, and explore the links which were shared.
Use some of the UEB maths exercises to practice braille maths.
Brush up my braille maths with more confidence.
The trainer.
Explaining the use of grade 1 indicator.
The interactive questions.
All of it because it gave me a better understanding of layout.
The reference to the links very helpful.
the presenter had a really clear way of explaining complex things.
On the spot replies to questions posed by participants using Duxbury to demonstrate further the concept being taught. It was very clear and links to resources excellent. Thank you.
Kyle's knowledge and the ability to learn from her directly (i.e. not a website or code book - how many times do I read the rules for it not to sink in?!)
Very encouraging and engaging delivery from Kyle. I feel inspired and confident to improve my skills supporting a braille user.
Delivery, and links to resources.
Very clears sound, great information.
Well-chosen examples.
Make it longer.
Nothing (4) it was excellent - could have been longer.
Not sure.
It needed longer to cover more material.
I haven't explored the Ppt sent after the training, but if not included then the examples worked through from the participant's questions would be helpful to reinforce what was presented/learned.
Longer time, please :)
I felt that the level was above my current skill set, but I had sufficient understanding to access the course and I found Kyle's explanations easier to follow than online learning alone.
I would have loved to have learnt Braille via the APH - lots of fun anecdotes during webinar. Very engaging.
