This event was the first of a two-part series of webinars to be delivered on Deafness and Autism.

In Part 1, Hannah George, a Clinical Psychologist with Linguistpd presented on the following areas:

• Introduction to Autism
• Autism in deaf children
• Prevalence
• Overlap between ASD and traits found in deaf children
• Assessing deaf children for ASD - challenges and how this was overcome in deaf CAMHS
• When and how to refer for assessment

Following the presentation, there was a Q&A session.
