What was best about the event?

Hands on practical experience with devices. Networking opportunities.
There is nothing specific all was amazing and very helpful.
As a 'newbie' I have found out many useful things.
The content and information was excellent. Great to have hands on activities too. Really enjoyed today.
Really good to meet other people on the course.
I really enjoyed the childhood deafness presentation as good for an overview/consolidation of things I have gradually learned on the job. Interesting having 3 different speakers, made day varied and like practical elements.
The expertise of the presenters - lots of new knowledge and info was extremely helpful.
Theory and practice was well balanced. Great to be sent practical help tools and slides for later. It was perfect. Thank you for your time.
Overall the whole day was very informative. Particularly the hands on but all was great.
Hands on examples.
Hands on experience and gaming knowledge. Great explanations on how equipment can be used to support learning. Improved my confidence in supporting pupils.

What, if anything, could have been included in the event?

Maybe some games for understanding how deaf people listen and what a big impact it has.
Although it was based on equipment a little more on BSL would be grand.

What other CPD training would you like the SSC to provide?

Perhaps looking at specific deafness types in more detail in terms of supporting learning.
BSL/Communication aids
