Yes. We will make further use of materials that have been shared today and further link into HOSS meetings for further support and advice.
Speak to our TOD about membership of BATOD for support. Plan ahead - currently no BSL learners but this might change.
This was a great session. Small enough that you could ask questions and have a group discussion around it. Very enjoyable and informative. The only additions I would add are the useful links which were added to the chat. As someone totally new to the service and with scant idea of which forums I should be on (apart from what I have been told by team members), it would be good to have an "address book" of organisations, forums, networks which I could go back and investigate and join (paid or free).
The opportunity to ask questions throughout and the signposts to support.
I enjoyed the national overview at the start. I also enjoyed Barbara and Alison's sharing of experiences and Teresa's information on current developments and opportunities
It was pitched at exactly the level I needed. I did not feel threatened or overwhelmed. Safe space to ask questions (did not make me feel silly for posing things which may be obvious to others).
Perhaps, for those of us who have little experience, explaining acronyms would be really helpful.
Pacing- maybe just a bit more time to discuss management of a service.
See comment above - "address book" of forums, networks, websites, useful tips (eg Grants for Scotland - how to find out what is happening in this field)

A session of information for managers use/follow up to date quality assurance frameworks.eg HGIOSS and other useful frameworks for sensory services.
The 8 module course you mentioned for support staff would actually have elements which would be good for someone coming to service with little prior knowledge.
How would you rate the webinar technology? 5/5
