Exploring the reality of being Deaf and having ADHD in school, this presentation highlighted the unique challenges, misunderstandings, and barriers faced while growing up. It looked at how communication differences and attention-related needs intersect, affecting learning, social experiences, and self-identity.

This workshop was provided by BDA Scotland.

Deaf since birth and a BSL user, William is a Deaf ADHD advocate, content creator, and currently training as an ADHD coach. He is passionate about raising awareness of Deaf ADHD through workshops, social media, and collaboration with organisations such as AP Cymru Neurodiversity Charity. He is also an ADHD UK Ambassador.
