Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

Yes, when teaching someone to cross roads who may have a CVI I will get them to turn their body not just their head when looking left and right.
Cascade a summary of the webinar, to all staff, VI and HI specialists and examine our current VI caseload, reflecting on the information provided within the webinar.
Not applicable at the moment as I am not currently working within this field.
I'll be more confident when discussing CVI with families and other professionals.
Webinar content already known - no changes to current practise as a result of viewing.
No; this was raising my awareness of CVI as a manager of a team of VI specialists.
More aware of this issue when assessing difficulties.
Update my practice
More aware of the difficulties CVI presents so will be able to look out for these now.

What was best about the course/event?

it was useful. clear. not too much info.
It was very well-paced for someone new to CVI with good practical.
A clear introduction to CVI. I do not currently work with the visually impaired but I found the presentation accessible and clear despite my lack of knowledge.
The video was good but I did appreciate the recap of information given by Elizabeth. It helped to clarify issues and put it into the context of a QTVI. Information given by John was great too.
Pace through webinar with pauses to summarise short sections.
That the technical presentation was stopped and recapped by Elizabeth on several occasions.
Good to get the staggered reinforcements after the talks.
The wealth of knowledge by presenters. Having other specialists with complimentary input.
I liked the way Elizabeth McCann stopped the video and summed up what had been said by Andrew Blaikie

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

don't think I really needed the summing up each time the speaker made a point by the host. had already grasped the point.
Nothing - very clear and useful

More on CVI for beginners!!!!
The growth in remote training has been so beneficial and allowed us to get involved in more CPD than we otherwise would have been able to if we had to travel 4 hours down to Edinburgh in the morning. It has also allowed more people to attend the CPD. This is much appreciated.
Working with a blind children in mainstream primary school- particularly in supporting Maths.
