Content

This short introductory course gave participants an overview of on-body signing - what it is, as well as when and how to use it. On-body signing is a method of signing that has a reference on the body. It is appropriate for many children, particularly those who are visually impaired and have additional learning needs as well as children with Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). This course incorporated theory and practical elements. The session offered a core vocabulary of signs for participants to use in their own setting.
