Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

Reducing language.
To use on-body signing more (2).
Speak to our additional support needs school and try to arrange some input.
Learn more signs and continue using more in classes.
I will think about use of core vocabulary and how to support parents and staff in consistent use of signs.
I will be trying to introduce this to pupils with complex needs.
Be more confident when using on-body signing.
Begin using signs with deafblind nursery pupil.
Work on some core signs.
Yes. I intend to print some communication cards to help prompt me when signing.

What was best about the course/event?

The practical part of the course (3).
Learning different signs (3).
Discussion about how to use the signs in a meaningful way and considering needs of pupil/young person.
The practical aspect - using the signs in school based examples.
Very practical and able to use immediately.
Learning new signs and having opportunity to practise them.
Practise in pairs.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

It would have been good to have some housekeeping before it started, i.e. fire exits, toilets. Accommodation - very cold (5).
More time going over the signs, it was very quick. (2) Not much time going over each one at a time.
