Sight & Sound Technology joined us to present a webinar to highlight some of the newest enhancements in the latest major releases of JAWS and Zoomtext, the hugely popular screen reading and magnification solutions, from Vispero. Particpants learned about the new Voice Assistant in both JAWS and Zoomtext and how JAWS is leveraging the power of AI to help with picture recognition.

We’ll also touch on some old favourites and a few hidden gems that you may not have realised were lurking around for just about as long as JAWS has been in existence!

Sam Coulson from Sight & Sound Technology explored the ZoomText magnification software and its brand new features for 2021 - featuring ‘Zoomy’ - your own Personal Assistant! ZoomText is a powerful tool for anyone with a visual impairment who would like to use their computer independently. The software is a fully integrated magnification and reading program tailored for low-vision users which enlarges and enhances everything on your computer screen, echoes your typing and essential program activity, and automatically reads documents, web pages and emails.

Sam also demonstrated Envision - a new, wearable text to speech device!
