Will you do anything differently as a result of this webinar?

Yes, I shall sign then say.
Be able to share signs with teaching staff and introduce to pupils with confidence.
I am now more comfortable starting to use on-body signing with pupils.
Was familiar with most of the content howver the part linking to CVi was useful to know i.e. Sign then say as often people with CVI can only process one thing at a time.
Incorporate more on body signs into our day.
Yes, as I had very little knowledge and now feel confident enough to introduce some on-body signing in my practice.
Will supply other teachers and ASN assistants with this very useful information - to promote consistency.
Will try out signing with two pupils.
Refresh ourselves on Body Signing.
Yes - I will be introducing some of what I have learned and also sharing my knowledge with colleagues.
We are experienced in using sign we will refresh our practice.
I have the confidence now to start using this with pupils whom I support as part of multi agency working with other professionals.
Reminders.

What was best about the event?

The poll questions - fun and kept my attention - also the length - keeping to time after the working day was perfect!
Background to on body signing and pace of introducing new signs, practical demonstrations were useful too.
Knowing how to access a helpful book and being able to gain hands on experience and ask questions.
Refresh of on body signing, seeing the videos of it being used.
Learning new signs.
The demonstration of how to do the signing on the body.
Watching the young people use the on body signing.
Being able to ask questions.
Good pace.
Very clear information, not too much detail but enough to gain understanding and feel that I could use what I have learned in a practical way.
The audience involvement.
There was a good balance of information presented along with the opportunity to have a practical hands on session even although it was a virtual presentation.
Checking in on my level of knowledge

What, if anything, could have been improved about the event?

Maybe we could have submitted suggestions for signs to be demonstrated, demonstrations on a human would have been clearer, a copy of the slides - maybe this was provided but I have missed it.
If it had been in person.
More time, we seemed to run out of time.
Would have liked more examples of adults working with children using body signs.
Clearer video of someone demonstrating the signs would have been useful.
More time for discussion.
Enjoyed the regular poll questions as a reinforcement of what was covered.
