The roles of the QTVI and Qualified Habilitation Specialist (QHS) are of vital importance in the Scottish Government's vision of closing the attainment gap. At a time when local authorities are under increasing financial pressure, QTVIs, Heads of Sensory Services and ASN Managers need to have a full understanding of the importance of the role of the QTVI and QHS as well as their impact on learners with VI and their families, mainstream teachers and whole school ethos.
