Following on from the highly successful course in February this year, Carrying out a Functional Vision Assessment (FVA), and in response to feedback, this course will focus on assessing learners who are pre-verbal due to age, and those who have complex additional support needs.

This face-to-face course is for those are new to the field of visual impairment or wish to refresh their skills when carrying out an FVA with learners who are pre-verbal.

This course will cover:

There will be a practical component to this course with opportunities to use a variety of testing materials.

A light lunch will be provided.

This course is suitable for those teachers who are new to the field of visual impairment and those who wish to refresh their skills when assessing young learners and those with complex additional support needs.
